Ahura Scientific

Ahura Scientific developed handheld Raman and FTIR spectrometers for chemical identification in safety, security and pharmaceutical applications. Founded in 2002 in Wilmington, Massachusetts, it developed FirstDefender, TruDefender and TruScan. Thermo Fisher Scientific acquired the company in February 2010 and integrated it into its analytical-instruments business.
