Auspex Pharmaceuticals

Auspex Pharmaceuticals is a biopharmaceutical company founded in 2001 that developed deuterium-modified medicines for movement disorders and other rare diseases. Its lead compound, SD-809 (deutetrabenazine), was developed for Huntington's chorea, tardive dyskinesia and Tourette syndrome. Teva acquired the company in May 2015.
