Calico (company)

Calico Life Sciences LLC is a biotechnology research and development company founded by Alphabet in September 2013 to study the biology of ageing. Based in South San Francisco, California, it combines basic research, computational biology and machine learning with drug development. Its lead candidate fosigotifator has been studied in vanishing white matter disease and ALS; AbbVie ended an eleven-year research collaboration with the company in November 2025.
