Dexcom makes continuous glucose monitors, wearable sensors that read glucose in real time and send it to a phone or a handheld receiver rather than requiring finger-prick tests. Its current systems are the G7 and a 15-day version of it, sold for all types of diabetes, alongside Stelo, an over-the-counter biosensor aimed at people over 18 who are not on insulin and marketed as a way to see how food, exercise, stress and sleep move glucose. Founded in 1999 and based in San Diego.
