Seagen

Seagen is a Bothell, Washington-based biotechnology company that develops antibody-based therapies, principally antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs), for the treatment of cancer and autoimmune diseases. It was founded in 1998 as Seattle Genetics by Clay Siegall and H. Perry Fell. Its marketed medicines include ADCETRIS (brentuximab vedotin), PADCEV (enfortumab vedotin), TIVDAK (tisotumab vedotin) and TUKYSA (tucatinib). Pfizer agreed to acquire Seagen in March 2023 for $229 per share in cash, an enterprise value of about $43 billion, and completed the acquisition on 14 December 2023.
