Virobay

Virobay was a Menlo Park-based biopharmaceutical company founded in 2006 that developed small-molecule cysteine cathepsin inhibitors for neuropathic pain, autoimmune diseases and fibrosis. Its clinical-stage drug candidates included VBY-036 and VBY-891. A clinical-development tracker reported the company dissolved by December 2019; no current commercial operations are verified.
