Wilson Therapeutics

Wilson Therapeutics was a Stockholm biopharmaceutical company developing treatments for rare copper-mediated disorders. Its lead candidate WTX101, a first-in-class oral copper-binding agent, reached Phase III for Wilson's disease, a rare genetic disorder that causes hepatic and neurological damage. Alexion Pharmaceuticals acquired the company in 2018 for about $855 million.
